Responsibilities
- Plan the execution of construction projects in accordance with Corporate Policy and health and safety standards
- Build and maintain positive customer and supplier/vendor relationships
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established budget
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
- Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff
- Review work, contracts, and WIP for areas of risk and correct deficiencies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Post secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, scheduling, and cost control
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience managing subcontractors and trade partners
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, or Bluebeam
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP designation
- Gold Seal certification
- Other relevant professional designations
