Responsibilities

• Plan the execution of construction projects in accordance with Corporate Policy and health and safety standards
• Build and maintain positive customer and supplier/vendor relationships
• Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established budget
• Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
• Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff
• Review work, contracts, and WIP for areas of risk and correct deficiencies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Post secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, scheduling, and cost control
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience managing subcontractors and trade partners
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, or Bluebeam
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP designation
• Gold Seal certification
• Other relevant professional designations
