Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support project requirements
• Manage core project team and assigned engineering and third-party resources to accomplish objectives on time and within budget
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Act as single point of contact for customers regarding technical, commercial, and schedule matters
• Develop and negotiate for supplemental work and changes of project scope
• Monitor projects for potential problems and lead resolution efforts
• Prepare and issue progress reports and presentations to customers and management
• Manage contractual claims through speedy conclusions
• Implement and maintain project quality
• Collaborate with Project Procurement Managers on procurement processes and purchase approvals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business management, or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years of project management experience in engineering or construction industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Power industry experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
