About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Art Lords’ public mural project at Middlebury College in Spring 2026
- Arrange logistics including space permits, community participation hours, artist accommodations, and community meals
- Serve as primary liaison between artists and various Middlebury College departments and student groups
- Handle outreach, publicity, and event documentation
- Deliver presentations across campus regarding the mural project
- Collaborate with campus organizations to share the project story
Requirements
- B.A. in History of Art & Architecture
- Strong art historical background with museum work experience
- Familiarity with the context of Afghanistan, Art Lords, Middlebury College, and migration issues
- Strong organizational, writing, and public presentation skills
- Strong community building skills
