Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Take overall project responsibility for Capital Air Pollution Control projects, ranging from equipment supply to full EPC responsibility.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding all correspondence and contract matters.
• Lead and steer project teams by promoting a collaborative, supportive, and goal-driven culture.
• Prepare and track project plans and schedules to ensure compliance with contract requirements and customer expectations.
• Manage project budgets, track variances, and collaborate with procurement to optimize costs.
• Drive internal workflows to keep engineering and design teams informed of project needs and customer changes.
• Manage and record all project changes, ensuring timely negotiation and closeout of change orders and claims.
• Perform risk and opportunity evaluations and implement contingency plans to mitigate impacts on cost, deadlines, or quality.
• Oversee timely project closeout, including resolving punch lists, obtaining final payments, and conducting lessons learned sessions.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements on dedicated sites.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of project management experience in heavy industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with accelerated schedules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and communication skills.
• Legally entitled to work in the USA.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in different phases simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical degree.
• PMP Certification.
• Practical experience in the Air Quality Control industry.
• Working knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud.
