Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite project management and advisory support for VHA facility and infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Act as a trusted partner to the Government, facilitating coordination among VHA leadership, design professionals, and contractors
• Oversee and monitor the execution of professional and technical services throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Proactively identify risks, resolve conflicts, and recommend mitigation strategies
• Facilitate and document all project meetings and maintain project records
• Produce deliverables including Project Management Plans, Risk Management Plans, and technical evaluations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
• Eight years of experience managing design and construction projects
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable National Agency Check (NACI) and VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with federal healthcare or hospital facility projects
• Experience supporting projects for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project scheduling, risk management, and construction administration
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
