Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage heavy civil, utility, and commercial civil construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, equipment, materials, and schedules
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, and project documents
• Track project progress, production, costs, change orders, and deadlines
• Communicate regularly with owners, customers, inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Conduct project site visits and coordinate daily or weekly field needs
• Identify potential issues early and help resolve problems affecting schedule, budget, safety, or quality
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily updates, RFIs, and change orders
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety, company policies, and quality standards

Requirements

• Previous project management experience in heavy civil, utility, or commercial civil construction
• Strong understanding of civil construction operations and sequencing
• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and project documents
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Proficiency with construction software such as Bluebeam, Procore, HCSS, Microsoft Project, or Excel
