Project Manager 2/Superintendent 3

Responsibilities

• Lead projects of $500k or less and provide oversight to Superintendents
• Investigate abnormal events, incidents, and accidents to identify root causes
• Serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) responsible for planning, budgeting, and controlling costs and schedule performance
• Ensure work packages represent realistic duration and budget through variance analysis
• Present project management performance plans, status updates, and trends to federal sponsors

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or scientific discipline, or specialized project management courses
• 10 years of work experience, including 5+ years in engineering, procurement, or construction
• Nuclear industry experience is required
• Ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance
• US Citizenship required
• Advanced experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Knowledge of construction, upgrades, renovations, and D&D
• Understanding of collective bargaining agreements and safety/lock-out/tag-out policies
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
