Project Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for complex projects and change-driven activities.
• Conduct studies and analyses regarding trends, variances, and impacts on product development and production rates.
• Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and refine business cases.
• Facilitate project/program plan integration, including change and baseline management.
• Act as the primary project contact to establish stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
• Direct all phases of projects or subsystems from inception through completion.
• Coordinate commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree.
• Experience supporting projects or programs utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience with Risk, Issues, and Opportunity (RIO) management to drive program performance.
• Experience working with multiple internal or external stakeholders (e.g., Finance, engineering, suppliers, customers).
• Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) using EVM.
• Experience developing proposals and negotiating contracts.
• Experience working with military or aerospace applications.
• Proficiency with standard project management tools.
• 3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
• 3+ years of experience managing resources required for program execution.
• A current Secret Security clearance.
