About the role
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of initiatives across the Product Control change agenda, including scope, timeline, risks, and dependencies
- Act as a product owner by defining objectives, prioritizing value, and driving adoption
- Manage demand intake and prioritization by maintaining the annual book of work
- Partner with Technology to shape roadmaps, release plans, and delivery approaches
- Translate business needs into clear, testable, and scalable requirements
- Coordinate delivery across global stakeholders in Product Control, Billing, Deal Services, and Technology
- Plan and lead testing and implementation, including test strategy and defect management
- Oversee cutover and operational handover to ensure smooth transitions
- Strengthen controls and governance by identifying gaps and documenting decisions
- Challenge existing processes to generate practical improvements for efficiency and risk reduction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data, or a related field
- Relevant experience in financial services within commercial and investment banking
- Experience delivering change initiatives across systems or processes
- Ability to translate business needs into structured, testable requirements
- Experience partnering with Technology teams for solution delivery
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong control and risk mindset with attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across global teams
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile)
- Experience in Product Control, financial reporting, or financial close processes
- Experience delivering automation solutions such as workflow or process digitization
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve controls or reporting
- Strong data modeling skills
- Experience establishing operating models or governance routines
- Experience leading global change initiatives
