Project Liaison Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface between capital project teams and plant operations to translate project scope and timelines into operational requirements.
• Ensure alignment with plant priorities, including safety, quality, productivity, and yield performance.
• Lead planning and plant readiness activities for installations, shutdowns, tie-ins, commissioning, and startup.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Logistics teams.
• Identify, assess, and escalate risks related to safety, quality, production, and project timelines.
• Coordinate execution sequencing to align with operational priorities and minimize production downtime.
• Support commissioning and startup activities to ensure a successful transition to steady-state operations.
• Maintain structured tracking of cross-functional actions and facilitate consistent communication regarding project progress.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience supporting capital projects, equipment installation, or commissioning activities.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, utilities, and production processes.
• Familiarity with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including GMP and OSHA.
• Strong planning, organization, and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to work flexible hours to support critical project phases such as shutdowns and startups.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving noise, temperature variations, and physical movement.
