Project Lead/Technical Lead - ADAS

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ADAS projects from conception through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including testing engineers, development teams, and external stakeholders
• Oversee and execute comprehensive ADAS testing programs including functional, performance, and safety validation
• Perform hands-on testing execution including test setup, vehicle instrumentation, and data acquisition
• Design and implement test strategies for ADAS features such as ACC, LKA, AEB, and BSD
• Ensure ADAS systems comply with relevant homologation standards and regulations (UN-ECE, FMVSS, Euro NCAP)
• Conduct and oversee Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for ADAS components
• Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing setup and execution

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in the automotive industry with a focus on ADAS
• Extensive hands-on experience with ADAS testing, validation, and FOT programs
• Deep understanding of ADAS technologies including radar, camera, lidar, and ultrasonic sensors
• Proficiency in electronics systems and automotive electrical architecture
• Expert knowledge of DFMEA methodology
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and FlexRay
• Knowledge of standards including ISO 26262, ISO 21448 (SOTIF), and UN-ECE regulations
• Practical experience with test equipment like GNSS/IMU systems and data loggers
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in automotive engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting (Python, MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe)
• Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum)
• Experience with AIS homologation processes in India
• Advanced vehicle dynamics knowledge and test driving certification
