Project Leader in Building Construction

Responsibilities

• Lead and take responsibility for construction assignments from early stages to final delivery
• Ensure quality, timing, and economy in projects
• Act as an advisory partner to customers in both local and national projects
• Drive technical solutions within building construction in collaboration with AFRY's multidisciplinary expertise
• Coordinate and lead project teams and support/develop colleagues
• Contribute to building and developing AFRY's offering in Örebro and the Mitt region

Requirements

• Approximately 8+ years of experience in building construction as a consultant
• Experience in assignment or project management with responsibility for quality, time, and budget
• Strong competence in static calculations and dimensioning
• Proficiency working according to Eurocodes and BBR
• Good knowledge of Revit and/or Tekla
• Experience with complex projects, preferably within hospitals or other technically demanding environments
• Ability to work closely with customers and drive business dialogue
• Fluent communication in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Valid B-driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex projects such as hospitals, defense, or security-classified buildings
• In-depth competence in steel and/or concrete construction
• Certifications or specialist roles within construction or building design
