About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach teams in the adoption of Scrum theory and Agile methodologies to improve productivity and performance
- Guide teams and product owners through agile practices and the execution of the Scrum Framework
- Support product backlog delivery, prioritize work for upcoming sprints, and ensure teams remain on task
- Facilitate collaboration across various teams and stakeholders, including product owners
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve impediments and obstacles to ensure successful product delivery
- Protect the team from distractions and interference to maximize the delivery of business value
- Apply the bank's Risk Management Framework to make sound, risk-informed decisions in alignment with business strategy
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in project leadership or agile coaching
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced proficiency in Agile Frameworks, Scrum Framework, and the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong expertise in Program Planning and User Stories Assessment
- Proven ability in coaching, mentoring, and continuous process improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
