Project Geologist

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee environmental projects including remedial actions, field sampling, and groundwater investigations
• Prepare technical reports and project proposals
• Develop and implement remedial and removal strategies in compliance with regulatory standards
• Supervise and mentor staff to foster professional development
• Manage project scheduling, cost controls, and client communication
• Maintain regular communication with clients and regulatory agencies

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in environmental and engineering consulting
• Experience with remedial actions and munitions response projects
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• 40-hour OSHA certification and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
• Willingness to travel 25% to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science
• Professional certifications such as M.S., P.E., or P.G.
• Experience managing environmental remediation construction projects
• Experience with project proposals and business development
