Project Financial Assistant

Responsibilities

• Manage Order to Cash activities for a portfolio of projects within Global Finance Operations
• Oversee monthly revenue and backlog accounting, including analysis and correction of exceptions
• Support internal stakeholders across account management, project operations, project finance, and country finance teams
• Prepare project-level reporting, reconciliations, and performance metric analysis
• Maintain project and contract data in PeopleSoft, including budgets, billing plans, milestones, and payment schedules
• Train and coach team members and support compliance, quality, and process documentation initiatives
• Handle ad hoc finance and operational tasks as needed

Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate in commerce, economics, accounting, management, or a related field
• Mandatory education in accounting
• 2+ years of experience in finance and accounting
• Good knowledge of statutory and management accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural, transnational environment and flexible shift schedule
• Strong work ethic, accountability, and discipline
• Ability to manage people and work collaboratively with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience with PeopleSoft PA module
• Exposure to project finance, revenue accounting, or shared services environments
• Ability to analyze financial metrics such as backlog variance, write-offs, and unbilled amounts
