Project Finance Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform contract accounting assessments in compliance with IFRS 15 and maintain DRRES
• Set up and manage SAP financial structures aligned with contract, billing, and revenue logic
• Control revenue and cost recognition (PoC) to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Analyze and resolve balance sheet positions including WIP, RUC, UB, and DR
• Manage incentives and TPA, ensuring proper accounting treatment
• Execute invoicing, billing adjustments, and provide dispute support
• Ensure governance and compliance with SOX, ABC, audits, and month-end closing
• Provide financial analysis and insights to identify risks and opportunities
• Act as a trusted advisor to influence stakeholders and defend accounting decisions

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15, revenue recognition, and contract assessment
• Advanced SAP experience, specifically with project and finance processes
• Proven experience in balance sheet control (WIP, RUC, UB, DR)
• Understanding of SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Advanced English fluency to communicate and defend financial positions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills
• Ownership mindset with end-to-end accountability

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the telecommunications industry
• Experience with Ericsson-specific tools or processes (CPM, Planner)
• Experience managing multi-country projects
• Familiarity with digital and AI tools in finance
