Project Executive

Responsibilities

• Administer the Borough Based Jail Program to facilitate construction of facilities throughout the City
• Manage aggressive construction schedules and ensure project milestones are met
• Execute strategies to drive high-profile projects through required regulatory agencies
• Monitor project budgets and oversee resource allocation
• Work with a team of architects, engineers, and construction managers
• Collaborate with other Program Executives to ensure adherence to contract documents
• Implement tiered methodology and supervise construction teams with clear accountability
• Liaise with various agency interagency task forces and update senior management

Requirements

• At least six years of full-time experience in construction management on capital projects
• At least eighteen months of experience in a managerial or consultative capacity
• Combination of education and experience totaling ten years
• Valid New York State Motor Vehicle Driver License
• Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Permanent status in the Administrative Construction Project Manager title
• Reachable on promotional exam #3523 or filed for open-competitive exam #3039
• New York State license as a professional engineer or registered architect
