About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic design and establishment of the HealthSpan Initiative, including the development of business cases, operating models, and long-term funding pathways.
- Build and influence high-impact partnerships across academia, government, industry, and philanthropy to secure investment and enable growth.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, governance, and program development to translate a bold vision into a sustainable, institution-level initiative.
- Work directly with senior academic leaders and industry partners to shape the future of preventative health.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading complex programs, strategic initiatives, or new organisational units, ideally within health, research, or innovation environments.
- Strong track record in developing business cases, investment propositions, and partnership models.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with experience working across government, industry, and academia.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments using strategic thinking and initiative.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- Possession of a current National Police Clearance and a "C" class driver’s licence.
