About the role
Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety by ensuring crews comply with all federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Manage long-term and short-term equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Utilize reliability and failure analysis data to maximize equipment availability and reliability
- Interpret parts and service manuals to ensure proper and timely diagnosis and repairs
- Maintain accurate record-keeping of all daily tasks performed by the maintenance team
- Train and mentor entry-level staff members
- Establish and maintain effective communication between all levels of supervision and management
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
- 5+ years of equipment-related experience
- Ability to lift 50lbs and access equipment including tower cranes
- Willingness to travel and relocate as required by project needs
- Ability to work in both office and field environments across various climates and site conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft software
- Knowledge of CAD modeling programs
