Project Environmental Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure communication and compliance with all Project Environmental Legal and other obligations
• Support the construction team during project start-up with the preparation and implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), sub-plans, and environmental procedures
• Coordinate the environmental approval process for the project
• Undertake audits of the CEMP, Sub-plans, EOPs, SWMS, and other environmental documentation during the construction phase
• Manage environmental aspects related to contamination, EPA compliance, and major earthworks

Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Planning, or Science
• Minimum 5 years of environmental project management experience within civil construction
• Up-to-date knowledge of Victorian and Commonwealth statutory environmental and planning requirements
• Proven experience implementing and managing Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP)
• Current Driver's Licence and access to own transport
