Project Environmental Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance and permitting for large-scale construction operations
• Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks to the company
• Perform and oversee field inspections and monitoring, including water quality and noise
• Identify and protect wetland and sensitive environmental areas prior to construction
• Develop and conduct environmental protection and awareness training for staff
• Monitor, forecast, and communicate environmental costs at the project level
• Act as the principal technical advisor and coordinator for all environmental issues
• Prepare required project reports and communicate risks to project management
• Liaise with clients and regulatory agencies during field visits

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in environmental health or engineering
• 7+ years of experience managing environmental compliance for large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of Federal environmental legislation
• Willingness to travel extensively across Texas
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) designation
• Experience in OGC or EPC environments
