Project Engineering/IDIQ Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and coordination for NWD scopes
• Develop statements of work and plans to define requisite work efforts
• Manage, coordinate, and administer major and complex projects involving multiple organizations
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and Profit & Loss
• Manage engineering evaluations for roads, bridges, buildings, and communications
• Lead the production of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROM)
• Perform technical writing, editing, and presentation development for proposals
• Coordinate subcontractor management and material procurement
• Conduct periodic project and customer meetings to review progress

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil preferred)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Engineering Intern acceptable with intent to obtain PE)
• 15+ years of relevant project management experience
• Experience managing multiple projects with budgets between $200k and $2M+
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "L" Clearance
• Strong background in operations, safety, and quality control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• Experience working with union and craft labor
• 2-4 years of experience in technical writing or marketing
