Project Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary global engineering efforts and prepare technical deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and external parties.
• Drive engineering proposal development, defining structure, deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Develop Engineering Execution Strategies and provide critical input to overall Project Execution Strategies.
• Proactively manage risks and changes to engineering scope, schedule, and budgeted quantities.
• Coordinate and lead internal and external design reviews, including HAZOP and P&ID reviews.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and resource constraints to support Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction teams.
• Ensure engineering design meets contractual obligations and is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in LNG, Natural Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, or Industrial Gas industries.
• 8+ years of experience in a Project Engineering or engineering discipline lead role.
• Proven track record managing large-scale capital investments ($100MM+).
• Strong knowledge of design reviews, HAZOP/P&ID reviews, and construction processes.
• Ability to work in office, supplier shop, construction, and operating plant environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing detailed engineering activities for modularized process plants.
• Experience working with municipalities on permit submittal requirements and site planning.
• Strong change management skills with an awareness of commercial impacts.
