Project Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical contractual scope of the project in collaboration with the customer
• Lead the deployment of project solutions and coordinate system activities until final acceptance
• Oversee risk management, mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Drive engineering strategy and chair the Project Change Control Board (CCB)
• Manage interfaces between sub-systems and third parties
• Coordinate the engineering team and allocate tasks effectively to ensure on-time delivery
• Ensure performance and customer acceptance of the project solution

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field
• P. Eng certification or currently in progress
• At least 5 years of experience in rolling stock and/or signalling on board projects
• Experience in project deployment across the full lifecycle, including commissioning
• Hands-on experience with functional or hierarchical team management
• Expertise in cost and planning control within an engineering scope
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in product development
• Understanding of urban and mainline market segments
