Project Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical contractual scope of the project in collaboration with the customer
• Lead system architecture, sub-system integration, and configuration management
• Coordinate the engineering team and effectively allocate tasks
• Oversee risk management, mitigation plans, and compliance with safety standards
• Drive the engineering strategy and chair the Project Change Control Board (CCB)
• Manage interfaces between sub-systems and third-party stakeholders
• Ensure performance and customer acceptance of the project solution through final deployment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field
• P. Eng certification or currently in progress
• At least 5 years of experience in technical signalling project roles
• Hands-on experience with functional or hierarchical team management
• Expertise in cost and planning control within an engineering scope
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project deployment across the full lifecycle, including commissioning
• Experience in product development
• Understanding of urban and mainline market segments
