Project Engineer (Water Transmission)

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design packages for water transmission systems including pipelines, pump stations, and storage facilities.
• Act as a central point of contact between client representatives, contractors, sub-consultants, and internal engineering teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure adherence to approved designs, and maintain safety protocols.
• Monitor project timelines, track contractor milestones, and identify potential delays to implement corrective actions.
• Manage and expedite the review of Requests for Information (RFIs), material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly progress reports, technical memos, and presentations for leadership and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects.
• Specific experience in water transmission pipelines, hydraulics, or pump stations.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and alignment sheets.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Must be a Saudi National and willing to be based in Tabuk, KSA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, WaterGEMS, or Primavera P6.
• Solid understanding of international and Saudi water infrastructure standards (e.g., NWC, SWCC).
• Arabic language skills for local coordination.
