Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure delivery on time, within cost, and at acceptable quality
• Plan, coordinate, and control M&E sub-contractors for project implementation
• Liaise with customers and contractors regarding site-related activities
• Coordinate equipment delivery, testing, and commissioning plans with internal teams
• Provide weekly progress reports and dashboard updates to management
• Conduct site rounds and joint safety and quality audit checks
• Prepare project documentation including Functional Design Specifications, network diagrams, and commissioning documentation
• Troubleshoot system faults and solve problems logically
• Support project management from inception through to on-site commissioning and client handover

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering with 2-5 years of experience
• Or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience
• Strong background in PLC systems or M&E infrastructure
• Experience in Data Centre environments preferred
• Proven experience in budgeting, planning, and resource management
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to travel to sites for commissioning activities

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• Experience in Construction Engineering or Manufacturing environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project
• SQL Database experience
