Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage certification projects for generator sets, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Independently determine project scope, develop investigation plans, and define specifications such as cost, time, and sample requirements
• Coordinate laboratory activities by preparing data sheets, scheduling work for technicians, and reviewing results
• Communicate with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures, negotiate completion dates, and resolve concerns
• Review technical documents, test plans, and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Provide technical assistance to clients regarding product inspection and follow-up services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in project management with the ability to handle multiple tasks and timelines
• Knowledge of generator sets or related electrical/mechanical equipment
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) for effective technical communication
• Strong communication and coordination skills with a customer-oriented mindset
