Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
• Perform quantity calculations, material takeoffs, and basic engineering calculations
• Support field operations including surveying, work layout, and quality inspections
• Manage document control, including RFIs, submittals, and as-built data
• Assist in the preparation of work plans, work packages, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
• Coordinate material deliveries and supervise subcontractor operations on-site
• Maintain project records, including daily reports, labor timesheets, and cost data entry
• Support estimating efforts by analyzing historical data and performing quantity takeoffs

Requirements

• 3+ years of field experience in electrical, mechanical, or piping within construction or industrial projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to travel and relocate frequently based on project needs
• Work authorization for the United States without current or future sponsorship
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
