Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of interior modification projects for Boeing airplane platforms, including 737, 777, and 787 models.
• Act as the Project Technical Leader, guiding integrated product teams (IPT) and facilitating technical design reviews.
• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, statements of work, and certification strategies.
• Support project proposal activities by assessing certification impacts and defining required effort.
• Monitor and report project technical performance metrics to leadership.
• Identify potential project risks and implement coherent mitigation and resolution plans.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize organizational quality and project flow.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams or projects.
• 5+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams.
• Direct experience with aircraft interior commodities (e.g., stowage bins, lavatories, galleys, seats, sidewalls).

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 or more years of related work experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Technical Lead on Aerospace Design Vehicles.
• Previous experience in an aircraft modification environment or working with Supplemental Type Certifications (STC).
• Strong understanding of CFR Title 14 FAA Part 25 regulations.
• Experience working with external suppliers.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
