Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead team in defining project strategies, goals, scope, budgets, and schedules
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Identify and manage project risks and response strategies
• Track team deliverables and maintain project schedules
• Collaborate with external engineering firms on feasibility and design reviews
• Develop project documentation including URS, RFQs, CCMs, and P&ID redlines
• Develop Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) and Front-End Loading (FEL) documents

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging, Pharmaceutical, or Biomedical)
• Experience with capital project execution from concept to commissioning
• Knowledge of aseptic processing and/or inspection & packaging engineering
• Ability to lead and execute multiple engineering projects simultaneously
• Understanding of inspection and packaging materials and testing methods
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, Vision Systems, and Building Management Systems
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and P&ID drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
• Experience with enterprise software (JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, Veeva, etc.)
• Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience
