Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead automotive technology projects in damping, sealing, and reinforcing
• Manage project timelines from award through 90 days post-launch
• Support Sika materials application strategy to meet customer requirements
• Manage DFMEA and DVP&R activities through launch and ensure design verification
• Secure application design approval and manage tooling budgets
• Manage engineering changes from customer quote approval to manufacturing implementation
• Coordinate with customer engineering and factory support to achieve project results

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in application engineering or Program Management, preferably in the automotive industry
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with plastic injection molding, tooling, and part design
• Ability to create strong internal and external relationships with customers and vendors
