Project Engineer Shell&Tube/PCHE

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all technical activities for assigned Shell&Tube and PCHE projects
• Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
• Perform feasibility studies, technical proposals, analysis, design, and prototyping
• Transform contract requirements into project outputs including calculations, dimensions, and material selection
• Size plant components and overall systems
• Draft final project documentation, construction details, and material purchase specifications
• Manage project deadlines and prepare documentation for ASME/PED compliance
• Lead technical meetings with clients and suppliers of critical materials

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience in the mechanical design of heat exchangers
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software (preferably AutoCAD and Inventor)
• Basic knowledge of project management techniques
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with finite element calculation modules
