Project Engineer - Roadways and Highways

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist municipal transportation design projects for public sector clients across Ontario
• Direct roadway design staff and manage multi-discipline project teams
• Manage project finances, including budget forecasting, resource management, and client invoicing
• Develop proposals, budgets, and schedules while maintaining client relationships
• Collaborate with transportation leaders to identify staffing and training requirements
• Support the Quality Management System and promote Environmental Health & Safety programs
• Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations

Requirements

• University or college degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in road design and construction
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng. or LEL) designation is required
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management or engineering design
• Proven experience in roadway design

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, and OpenRoads or Civil 3D software
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
• Experience in professional report and proposal writing
