Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate task execution with project managers and technical leads
• Contribute to design and CAD development of roadway, intersection, and stormwater infrastructure plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E)
• Prepare engineering calculations and technical reports
• Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards
• Provide construction support including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits
• Assist with client engagement and public agency representative coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Idaho or ability to obtain through reciprocity
• 4-12 years of relevant engineering experience in transportation or public works
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of transportation design standards (ISPWC, AASHTO, PROWAG, etc.)
• Familiarity with roadway drainage systems and construction management fundamentals
