Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Review and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with Planning Engineer for weekly and monthly updates
• Prepare look-ahead programs and identify delays
• Provide technical solutions to site issues and raise RFIs
• Prepare material take-offs and coordinate material requests
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure timely inspections
• Ensure implementation of HSE procedures on site
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain site diaries
• Coordinate with consultants and client representatives for inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 8-12 years of experience in project engineering
• Experience in buildings or villa construction
• Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural, MEP coordination, and finishing works
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Experience with main contractors in the UAE preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Primavera P6
