Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities, ensuring alignment with approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor project progress, prepare look-ahead programs, and propose recovery actions to mitigate delays
• Provide technical solutions to site issues and raise RFIs for missing or unclear information
• Manage material take-offs, coordinate material requests, and ensure timely delivery and compliance
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure timely inspections and compliance with project specifications
• Implement HSE procedures on site to maintain a safe working environment
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, site diaries, and maintain accurate project documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 8-12 years of professional experience in construction
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in buildings or villa construction projects
• Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural, MEP coordination, and finishing works
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with main contractors in the UAE
• Proficiency in Primavera P6
