Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities, ensuring alignment with approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor project progress, prepare look-ahead programs, and propose recovery actions to mitigate delays
• Provide technical engineering support, including reviewing IFC drawings and raising RFIs for missing information
• Manage material take-offs and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of compliant materials
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and minimize rework
• Implement HSE procedures on-site to maintain a safe working environment
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, site diaries, and handover documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 8-12 years of professional experience in construction
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer specifically in buildings or villa construction
• Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural, MEP coordination, and finishing works
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with main contractors in the UAE
• Proficiency in Primavera P6
