Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical drawings and interpret specifications to determine mechanical requirements for assigned projects.
• Manage and oversee HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Prepare comprehensive shop drawings and coordinate with main contractors and consultants for approval.
• Perform technical calculations including HAP (Heat Load), ESP for fans, and pump head calculations.
• Raise Requests for Information (RFI) to resolve discrepancies in authority-approved drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to arrange manpower and monitor material availability on site.
• Ensure all installations, including chilled water piping, ducting, and equipment (Chillers, FAHU, Pumps, etc.), meet project standards.
• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety codes and perform quality assurance on all mechanical components.
• Monitor project deadlines and budgetary requirements to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience within the contracting industry.
• Proficiency in Xpdedeon Software.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong understanding of BMS, LPG, and Fire systems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
