Project Engineer - Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical drawings, interpret specifications, and determine mechanical requirements for assigned projects.
• Oversee HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems, including Chilled Water piping, ducting, and equipment installation.
• Prepare comprehensive shop drawings and coordinate with main contractors and consultants for approvals.
• Perform technical calculations including HAP (Heat Load), ESP for fans, and pump head calculations.
• Manage site activities, manpower coordination, and material availability in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• Raise Requests for Information (RFI) to resolve discrepancies in authority-approved drawings.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety codes and perform quality assurance on all mechanical components.
• Monitor project deadlines and budgetary requirements to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience within the MEP industry.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office applications.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills.
