Project Engineer - Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical drawings, interpret specifications, and determine mechanical requirements for assigned projects.
• Oversee HVAC, Plumbing Drainage, and Fire Fighting Systems projects.
• Prepare comprehensive shop drawings and coordinate approvals with main contractors and consultants.
• Perform technical calculations including HAP (Heat Load), ESP for fans, and pump head calculations.
• Coordinate site activities and manpower in conjunction with the Project Manager and Main Contractor.
• Manage material availability on-site and ensure adherence to health and safety codes.
• Conduct quality assurance on all mechanical components and document findings in detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve discrepancies through the Request for Information (RFI) process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience within the MEP industry.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office applications.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
