Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical organization of multidisciplinary engineering teams designing Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for satellite constellation projects
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor EGSE activities related to development, qualification, and flight production models
• Act as an interface with management to secure necessary material and human resources
• Perform risk analyses and technical trade-offs for EGSE projects
• Organize and participate in technical reviews of deliverables and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Interpret customer needs and ensure compliance with MDA standard practices, safety, and quality rules
• Support the testing of satellite electronics units

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an electronics-related field
• Practical experience in electronics test station design and manufacturing (digital, analog, power, or RF electronics)
• Proven experience leading a design team
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work irregular business hours to support production operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with satellite electronics or space industry testing standards
• Eligibility for security clearance at the reliability status level
• Ability to pass security assessments for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR
