Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
• Track project costs, resource allocation, and overall performance
• Analyze new product and design proposals for manufacturability and compatibility with current operations
• Develop cost estimates for prototype and production tooling, equipment, and manufacturing-related projects
• Monitor and control project-specific tooling and equipment budgets
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers regarding project development updates
• Support the design and planning of future manufacturing layouts, process flow improvements, and product assembly strategies
• Research and evaluate manufacturing equipment and procurement options
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of related engineering or manufacturing experience
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
