Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specification
• Review project proposals and objectives to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with organizational goals
• Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and assign responsibilities to meet key milestones
• Design, conduct, and analyze tests to measure project progress and compliance with design specifications
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Provide regular status updates and detailed progress reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state, federal, and industry regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of professional engineering experience
• Proven experience in vendor management and working with external contractors
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of mentoring junior engineers
