Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform contract compliance, quality control, and field oversight of subcontractors
• Develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications
• Inspect field conditions to identify problems, inaccuracies, and potential cost-saving measures
• Develop and maintain the project master schedule using appropriate scheduling software
• Manage document control processes, including logging and tracking new issue drawings
• Prepare monthly cost projections and quarterly cash flow projections
• Provide supervision and on-the-job training for junior engineers and project staff
• Recommend improvements to project operations, including staffing and procedures

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years of work experience in construction or engineering (vertical construction preferred)
• 2+ years of experience managing engineers and project subcontractors
• Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies on engineering plans and contract documents
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial building projects or data center construction
• Proven track record in subcontractor management and field operations
