Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the administrative and technical aspects of construction projects, including team leadership and document control.
• Act as the primary conduit of information between the construction manager and the team regarding cost, revenue, and cash flow.
• Develop and maintain project master schedules using appropriate scheduling software.
• Prepare monthly cost projections and quarterly cash flow projections.
• Inspect field conditions to identify inaccuracies, problems, or cost-saving measures.
• Manage and support the project team, providing supervision and on-the-job training for lower-level engineers.
• Review contract documents and drawings for changes in conditions and quantify their impact.
• Drive company environmental health and safety programs at the project level.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of work experience in construction or engineering.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineers.
• Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and identifying discrepancies in engineering plans and specifications.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed based on project locations.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics, integrity, and safety.
