About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure compliance with project requirements and Kiewit standards
  • Provide engineering support and technical solutions to address challenges and optimize project designs
  • Monitor project progress, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met
  • Manage project costs and budgets, review daily job costs, and produce accurate forecasting reports
  • Oversee project documentation including RFI logs, submittals, permits, drawings, and specifications
  • Conduct inspections and monitor quality throughout the project lifecycle
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in construction operations, preferably in infrastructure, heavy civil, or industrial sectors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, P6, or HCSS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work at various locations and handle travel or relocation as required by project needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation
