Project Engineer - Interior Design

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise on-site activities to ensure construction and design work meets quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Review architectural and design drawings for accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with client requirements.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and design teams.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to negotiate contracts, pricing, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Manage the tendering process, review BOQs, and oversee contractor performance.
• Prepare and manage contracts for third parties and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
• Provide regular reports on cost performance, site progress, and potential project risks.
• Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, agreements, and project documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project engineering or a similar role, preferably in luxury interiors.
• Valid UAE driving license and a personal vehicle for work use.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plan Swift, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, management, and contractors.
• Highly organized with a proactive approach to problem-solving and site management.
