Project Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Support the development and qualification efforts of aircraft evacuation slides
• Manage small to moderate sized projects including system development, hardware design, and testing
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for manufacturing and fielded products
• Prepare preliminary and final detail design and documentation for evacuation system components
• Coordinate the building and testing of prototypes
• Work with Systems Engineers to plan and execute requirements validation and verification
• Support engineering material review board (MRB) dispositions for non-conforming products
• Perform financial analysis of project design components and manage budgeted time and cost constraints

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft O365 software suite
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Competency in the design, development, and regulatory approval of aircraft systems
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily issues while strategizing long-term projects
