Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage engineering projects within the manufacturing site, including both GXP and non-GXP projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Collaborate on the elaboration of GXP documents such as URS, DQ, DQR, and qualification documents.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement using Lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.
• Manage vendor relationships, including quotations and execution oversight.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and monitoring expenditures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience managing engineering projects within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and technologies.
